Continuity announces “The Storage & Data Protection Survey Report 2024”

Over half of the survey respondents are looking to improve the way they detect deviation from ransomware protection best practices and vendor’s hardening guidelines, while a similar number are looking to improve the way they detect storage & backup devices exposed to security advisories and alerts.
Ransomware has pushed storage, data protection, and cyber recovery back onto the IT and corporate agenda. Throughout 2024, ransomware groups have been actively targeting enterprise storage and backup systems, to prevent recovery.
The purpose of this survey was to understand the 2025 priorities of Storage and IT Infrastructure leaders for managing configuration of their storage & data protection environments, deploying new cyber recovery capabilities, as well as navigating audit compliance requirements.
